What volunteer opportunities are included in the program
- Helping MAST Social trekking program for the sustainability of Khandbari orphanage.
- Helping the English teachers of the school improve their language teaching skills.
- Sharing ideas to organize school in effective ways.
What are our expectations?
- You need to be able to speak and write English fluently.
- You need to be at least 18 years old and experienced in the field you are volunteering in.
- We expect you to be respectful of our children, staff, and overall Nepali culture.
- We will ask you to help with our community-based tourism program.

How much will my volunteer stay cost?
Since our activities and programs rely solely on private donations, we don’t have the extra funds at our disposal. Our guests are always most welcomed to make financial or material contributions whenever possible.
You can prepare your own food in your room, eat at a nearby home, eat food at the orphanage,or eat in a nearby hotel. If you choose to eat at a local hotel, you can expect to pay $25 per day for local Dal Bhaat Nepali food, tea, breakfast, snacks and boiled water to drink.

What can you expect from us?
- We will provide an office for all your office work.
- We will encourage and support you in any new projects or creative activities that you want to implement at the orphanage to enhance the lives of the children.
- We will help you find transportation, meals and lodging.
- We can provide you with free accommodation, but you will have to pay for food, transportation and other personal expenditure.
